Ok so I finally have some time to write something. It's been non stop until this morning or afternoon I guess. So we had Thursday and Friday to load-in and set everything for Friday's show in Holmdel, NJ. We were told to treat Thursday like it was the show day, but that didn't work out too well. The audio trucks are the last to load-in and we didn't see any gear until 12:30 in the afternoon. Not good. We weren't ready until 8pm that night for blink and usually the opening acts would have started at 7. Since this is only my second time flying these particular speakers, I have to pat myself on the back. I was up and ready just about as fast as the other guy. Which I may remind you has been the system's tech for Pearl Jam the last 10 years. Also, it's common to forget little things and have to fly the speakers back in. This is considered somewhat embarrassing especially if it's something you forgot or didn't check. Everything on my side worked the first time! Here's a few pictures. I'll try to write about Jones Beach today, it's a pretty cool place on Long Island.
