A new adventure

So if you haven't heard, I've taken a job with blink-182 as one of the sound guys for the next 3 months.  People have told me I should start a blog.  Not sure how good I'll be at this but here goes...

So tomorrow I fly to Los Angeles for rehearsals.  I'll be there 10 days in an arena as we figure out the ins and outs of the show.  My primary responsibility will be flying half of the speaker system each day.  Other than that I'll be helping on stage or FOH with the audio equipment. I really don't know what I'll be doing once everything is set up.  After rehearsals are done I get a few days back in Lex and then on a bus for 2 and half months starting in New Jersey and traveling the US and Canada.

For those of you who are wondering, I've already been told this is a NO comp ticket tour.  The only thing they said is I could get VIP tickets if it's sold out, but you'd have to pay for them which are over $200.  Yeah, they have to pay my salary somehow.

I'll try to keep up with this.  Hope everyone is doing well.
